I was today years old when I truly learned how little the education system cares about the well-being of those it’s supposed to care about. It’s never been so clear, so blatantly obvious that they simply do not care. Not about their students and not about their educators and education workers.
And it’s not just education. It’s all the systems that operate our world. I’m not naïve. I’ve always known they don’t care about us, but ugh…money, money, money, profit over people, stupid formulas that don’t factor in anyone’s humanity. I’m so over this nonsense.
