Daily Musings 104 “my sweet boy”

On this last day of 2020, I’ve saved THE BEST for last! I am grateful for my sweet boy who celebrates his 3rd birthday today.

At just three years old he’s kind, funny, loving, generous, strong-willed and wise beyond his years. His emotional intelligence is through the roof and he’s been my greatest teacher.

I like to joke and say that he’s mine, all mine, but I know that he’s not. He’s his own person, with his own purpose and place in this world.

And so he’s being provided a solid foundation to safely learn, grow and make mistakes. He knows he’s loved and he knows he’s secure in that love. He is free to be.

He amazes me every single day and one of my biggest regrets of the year is that more people didn’t get to experience his light.

Oh, how I love him so. 🥰 Grateful to be his mama and counting my blessings.
