I wasn’t feeling very well yesterday, so I made sure to tell my two year old son as we walked to our new home from his daycare. I told him I wasn’t feeling good and asked him if he’d take care of me. He said “yes”, and he really did. He had mercy on me the entire evening and night.
He’d just look at me, like he was checking in…and he’d reach out and touch my forehead or neck.
My boy was sweet, good and kind. He was compliant, agreeable and easygoing. I was, and still am so very impressed with his empathy and care for his mama.
I guess he knew I was feeling better today. 🙄
