Daily Musings 43 🎃

My little guy loves Halloween. He’s been obsessed with it for a while and I think the fascination began with pumpkins. Just recently he refused to nap if not with his pumpkin. Yes, an actual pumpkin. 🙄 Needless to say, if we weren’t in the midst of a pandemic this would’ve surely been his first year trick-or-treating. Well, my family didn’t disappoint. Baby boy got to go trick-or-treating bedroom door-to-bedroom door in our old home. It was beautiful.

When asked a couple weeks prior what he wanted to be for Halloween he said a “dump truck”, so when he saw his costume for the first time today…it was a sight of pure joy. He got into role pretty quickly asking for his trick or treats to be placed in his truck as he met a mouse, a cat, Indiana Jones, Dracula, a panda and a train conductor. I think it’s safe to say this was the BEST Halloween ever. Counting my blessings.
